For those that haven’t been following whats been happening over the last couple of days Panini Fake Flawless Cards and here on the NFL forum Panini Flawless EXPOSED!!!!. Panini's been caught releasing fake game used jersey cards in their latest Flawless collection.
Panini admits involvement
As this is an issue across many other sports for Panini, we've got to ask what's going on? How do we know which Panini cards are fake or not for any sport?
Some may recall the recent fraud case Fraud sports memorabilia dealer Bradley Wells tells FBI prominent card companies knew his jerseys were fakes. Reports filed showed that the value of raw material in just some of the fraud cases if the items had not been fake, would have totaled over US$11 million and Courts papers from the above case say that Panini made millions of dollars through their sales of these fake cards. It was quite a shock to read that there have been several cases including Wells, Oldridge, Horne, Gernay. Panini's admission of the scale of what was going on is worrying. The recent sentencing at US District Courthouse in Rockford, Illinois includes convictions of jail time.
These are indeed sad times.
