My son has had redemptions with them for ages,and nothing has turned up this year.He told me that he heard recently that they have closed for a while,due to whats happening around the world.
They are starting to enforce their policy which has always been there. We've been pretty lucky for a long time that they accepted expired redemptions. Good luck even trying with upper deck and topps.
And this is the big part of the problem. Anyone who thinks the players care about signing cards is fooling themselves. I've heard plenty of people argue that panini should enforce their contracts, the only thing they'll do by doing that is alienate the players and they'll sign even less.

I don't think there'll be any change there they'll use beckett/ebay. Keep your receipts if you've got them. You can also keep waiting I guess.
I can never understand how a player cant just sit down for a handful of minutes and bang out the sigh's...if its out of say #25 sigh's how long can that realistically take... 1 -2 mins

whilst I love Joe, he strikes me as the type of person who could care less about signing cards.. He seems active on twitter, maybe I put a tweet up and tag him? He wont reply but will most likely read it...

1. We all then sook how sloppy the autos are!
2. These guys are all on the road (on and off) 8 months a year. For most of them their down time away from training, games, team commitments etc. Is with family. I'm not surprised that it would be the last thing that they want to do. I get your point though

Ive been lucking enough to spend time with most pro athletes over the years and theres one thing Ive noticed;
It’s the guys who have never forgotten how they felt as kids when they met a pro athlete in the flesh and maybe got a photo or a sig from them. Those guys remember what a little gesture like a sig does to a person who values it.
The athletes who dont remember that, wouldnt care about signing a stack of cards
