Panini Photogenic - Thoughts?

Hi everyone,

Saw some of the cards come up on ebay from this very basic release (was about $150 direct from Panini) and while the auto designs aren't the best, they do have some great photography on some of the base cards (which are on a thick stock too!).

The cards remind me a bit of the old Stadium Club sets or the 1995/96 Upper Deck Release and I think I may grab some of the base cards as they look really cool!
















And some of the coolest ones.....







Anyway if you see any other great images feel free to post them!

These look great, the base set and the inserts are very nicely designed. It Definitely has that 95-96 Upper Deck full bleed and minimal look with good imagery. I will probably get a box or two maybe put a base set and the Unforgettable set together.

Found it cheap on blowout with $25 coupon.

Looks like the print run is small and these card look sick, so its a no brainer for me

what is this??... a set without every card being a cropped out image of a play on white card stock?
Only took them 12 years to come up with!

They look great though!

I think they look great and the price is actually reasonable for a change.

I do feel however that it would be better if there were a few more nice 90's style insert sets that are limited to 1 per box or more.

Add an iconic looking insert set and these would be

The idea of the video is that he has to keep ripping packs until he hits a case hit. He did get it relatively quickly though... within 2 boxes.

I would do it with my 6 boxes but from 2 different sellers, no doubt there is nothing decent in them
