Now I have to admit that as a collector I really like the look of this product !

Just having a look at the latest pictures being released and was a bit shocked to find this one

Is it just me but unless I see someone do an upside down Dunk, it look like quality control got this slightly wrong ?

It does not look like the Pippen set is alone with this error :( I hope someone noticed it before the release

Regardless, I still love the look of them

I don't think any release has ALWAYS had the patch inserted the correct way around. When you look at the process to make them, the pieces are all placed in a bag before bein inserted onto card, so it would be easily mixed up!

I would like to see all patches inserted correct way up, or in the case of cards with odd shaped windows, to make as much of the patch visible as possible!

I totally agree with you that errors are not new but it looks like most of those sets are showing the same error and only in one card from the sets. A shame really.

You would think that like most media companies that someone is overseeing the final product

Another awesome looking set but with one slight error :(

Yes plenty of great looking cards.
But QC has been real slack...
Did you see the kobe logo patches? All upside down.
The pippin bulls head logo patch. In a blazers uni.. That's gonna upset a lot of bulls collectors.

I wonder how many of these 'great' cards are gonna be in each box,case..
Compared to the regular jerseys, I think a lot of people are going to be expecting flawless
Like quality hits in each box, but with probably only one RPA patch and maybe one other patch the big hits are going to be so much harder to hit. I have a feeling that some expectations will set way to high.
Still can't wait for it to release and hoping to hit a kobe upside down logo patch in my GBs.

Those Carter Raptors jumbo patches have him in Dallas Jersey in Picture AND listed under Dallas on card as well. There goes my chances of getting one having selected Raps in 3 group breaks hoping to get one...

I think if this is all you are complaining anout in QC, then all is good!

Yes it would be nice that it is all right way up, but if it isn't, it is still a nice patch.

It is highly likely that no one will own all the patches that you will get it all together anyway.

Perhaps I worded it wrong but I re-read my post and I was just pointing out an obvious error that I noticed and thought was odd.

You are right that most people wont really care but if they advertise how they all go together then it does not look so good for patches to be put in upside down.

I absolutely hate when they do that, just use a picture from when they played with that team!!!

Better product than Flawless in my eyes....more colour and more creative....just my opinion. Love all the patches, even the upside down ones.

Yeah beautiful looking product but couldnt believe Pippen in a Blazers uniform and then the Bulls head logo as a patch.

Like the idea of breast cancer and Christmas Day logos in this release.

Personally I feel Panini have really ballsed up both Flawless and Immaculate in regards to upside down patches. Two season-ending (finally...) products, both high end (or above), yet the QC is a let down.
The auto patches and logomans in Immaculate look stunning. However all these patch cards without foil look cheap.
I would rather have a Flawless patch card that has detail to it than an Immaculate which is just glossy.
However I know that patches sell, so maybe Panini do too and deliberately decided to skimp on these.

Agree that both products aren't perfect and have faults, but if I had to chose one over the other it would definitely be Immaculate.

I guess, in reality, all they would need to do is use tape where the backing paper has an arrow on it!

If you watch the vids on how they make them, they stick the material to a sheet of double sided tape then cut it up and put the pieces in a bag, so it is not surprising that they aren't inserted the correct way up. But if they had an arrow on it, they would easily be able to tell when it came to putting the patches in!

For high end products such as Flawless and Immaculate, there is no excuse for upside down patches. absolute bullsh*t.

You could forgive it if it was in elite red or threads or any of their other low-end products, but the top shelf product.
