That 1/1 is terrible. But as you said, great looking cards but the autograph part seemed like an after thought. I hate to say it but sometimes Panini kills it on the designs of these cards and then literally kills it with some dumb mistake. You have these amazing looking cards with stickers slapped on them in the most random spots that don't work with the design. Makes a nice product look very cheap.
Surely they can reduce the number of cards each player has to sign and get them to complete most of them in a single session. I would be happy to sacrifice every one of my sticker autos for one on card auto. It will also increase the value of the cards on the secondary market and increase the satisfaction of getting an autograph.
I know this is wishful thinking and will never happen...
Have you seen the Flawless USA autos? Several of them have half a player missing, plus the layout for the triples was poor.
Also Immaculate football have a 1/1 logo... That has only about 2/3 of the logo. Why..??

I think I recall a triple auto which may have been something like Kobe/Durant and someone else and I think Kobe cut Durant's grass and signed where he should have because it was a better spot on the card
I just cannot for the life of me understand how Panini can sell products like National Treasures and Immaculate at some US $60 a card and US $600 a box - and then fill these products with sticker autos.
I think that's atrocious. Has Upper Deck ever had a sticker auto in Exquisite?!?! I'm sure they haven't since they moved to the College license. Pretty sure there were also none in All Time Greats. UD Black I believe was all on card except for one single insert set (the Jordan Brand Classic).
It's terrible because I say pay US $60 for a box on Intrigue, and I probably have a better chance of getting an on-card auto then I do with a US $650 box of Immaculate.
I absolutely refuse to pay such ridiculous prices for any product that includes sticker autographs, which is why the only high end product I consider buying these days is Upper Deck Exquisite (from 11-12 onwards), Luxe and Noir - each of these products is 100% on card.
I expect it on cheaper products like Select, Prizm, Totally Certified, SP Authentic, etc. Not on stuff costing upwards of $20 per card.
