The New England Patriots’ scintillating last-second victory over the defending-champion Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday — before a record 114 million U.S. viewers, no less — brought a fittingly fascinating end to the 2014 NFL season. But for many football collectors, the NFL Honors broadcast one night earlier packed its own fair share of hair-raising moments.
Indeed, when the league crowned its 2014 award winners on Saturday night (namely MVP Aaron Rodgers, Offensive Rookie of the Year Odell Beckham, Jr., and Defensive Rookie of the Year Aaron Donald), the announcements instantly made winners of interactive Awards Selections cards featuring those players that were randomly inserted into Panini America’s December release of 2014 Select Football. Roughly 24 hours later, the Patriots made winners of the New England Super Bowl card. And bright and early Monday morning, the Panini America Product Development Team put the finishing touches on the stacked winning sets that lucky collectors holding those respective Award Selections cards will receive.

Winners will receive a 52-card Blue Mojo Prizm set featuring 32 Patriots (including late-game hero Malcolm Butler), five Seahawks (including Chris Matthews’ first Seahawks card) and 15 game-highlight cards from Super Bowl XLIX.
Aaron Rodgers — NFL MVP
Winners will receive a special 16-card Blue Mojo Prizm set with all 16 cards featuring Rodgers and his biggest 2014 season highlights.
Odell Beckham, Jr. — Offensive Rookie of the Year
Winners will receive a special 16-card Blue Mojo Prizm set with all 16 cards featuring Beckham, Jr. and his biggest 2014 season highlights.
Aaron Gordon — Defensive Rookie of the Year
Winners will receive a special 16-card Blue Mojo Prizm set with all 16 cards featuring Donald and his biggest 2014 season highlights.
