Panini America’s upscale Impeccable Football brand made a bold debut last October and almost immediately became everybody’s frontrunner for Best New Product of Year honors. Equipped with a daring combination of precious metal cards, on-card autographs and designs that were, well, impeccable, the product was immediately embraced by collectors. Based on that overwhelmingly auspicious debut, it was really only a matter of time before the Impeccable brand crossed over — and that time is now.
In late September, Panini America officials will unveil 2016-17 Impeccable Basketball, introducing the many merits of the brand — on-card autographs, one-per-case precious metal cards, striking aesthetics — to a new audience. On average, each hobby box (eight cards per box, three boxes per case) will deliver five autographs.
The product highlights are many and include . . .
Each case will contain one precious metal card, holding a bar of one Troy ounce of silver (numbered to 16) or a 1/2 Troy ounce of gold (numbered to 10).
Every box will contain one Rookie Autograph (signed on-card) from a checklist that includes the likes of Brandon Ingram, Thon Maker, Malcolm Brogdon, Buddy Hield and more.
The Impeccable Stats Autographs insert featuring signed cards numbered to the featured player’s stat of significance; also find rare autographed inserts numbered to jersey numbers and number of years in the NBA.
Elegance Jersey Autographs showcases rookies, veterans and retired players on a uniquely designed card with both a swatch of jersey and an on-card autograph; look for Prime versions numbered to 25, 10 and one, respectively.
All autographs in 2016-17 Impeccable Basketball will be signed on-card.
