As you read this, know that Panini America officials are steadfastly working on the final pre-release stages of the previously announced, highly anticipated 2015 Donruss Soccer, the company’s first-ever set that pays tribute to the world’s most prominent club and national teams. Set to release — finally — on September 23, 2015 Donruss Soccer will serve to set the stage for what’s shaping up to be a banner fourth quarter as it relates to soccer trading cards.
We’ll have plenty of coverage from the upcoming 2015 Donruss Soccer packout in the coming days right here on The Knight’s Lance. But today, we’re pulling the curtain back on the Prizm-powered product that’s slated to follow Donruss in late October: 2015 Select Soccer.
Boasting the captivating Optichrome printing technology, colorful parallels and strong autograph content that helped make the 2014 FIFA World Cup Prizm product an international blockbuster, 2015 Select Soccer will deliver three autograph or memorabilia cards, eight Prizm parallels, four inserts and one variation per box (five cards per pack, 12 packs per box).
Among the product’s many other highlights . . .
- Made with Panini’s stunning Prizm technology in a wide array of colors, 2015 Select Soccer offers trading cards of the world’s best players, including the first soccer memorabilia cards ever produced by Panini America.
- Find autographs and player-worn memorabilia cards from top players in the world such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr., Andrea Pirlo, Luis Suarez, Mesut Ozil, Gianluigi Buffon, Vincent Kompany and more.
- Many new Panini autograph signers including Bastian Schweinsteiger, Ivan Rakitic, Juan Mata, Rui Patricio, Santi Cazorla, Harry Kane and more.
