The juggernaut is coming. Flawless Basketball, one of the most extravagant brands in the history of sports card collecting, is preparing to close out the 2015-16 NBA collecting season with a thunderous finale by delivering its trademark brand of high-end hoops hysteria.
Set to arrive in mid September, Panini America’s 2015-16 Flawless Basketball returns with the hobby’s rarest base set (limited to just 20 diamond-embedded sets), a poignant memorabilia tribute to Flip Saunders and the Flawless debut of Logoman and Championship Tags memorabilia cards.
Every 10-card briefcase of 2015-16 Flawless Basketball will include seven autograph cards, two encased jewel cards and one Jumbo Patch memorabilia card. Every card produced for 2015-16 Flawless Basketball will be numbered to 25 or less. As expected, the highlights of the product are many and include . . .
- A true one-of-a-kind tribute, the Flip Saunders Tribute insert pays homage to the Minnesota Timberwolves’ late, great head coach with memorabilia cards featuring the commemorative “Flip” patch the Timberwolves wore to honor their beloved leader following his passing.
- Look for encapsulated precious stones in the following versions: Base Diamond (numbered to 20), Ruby (numbered to 15), Sapphire (numbered to 10), Emerald (numbered to five) and 1/1 oversized diamonds.
- Originally placed on NBA jerseys as a tribute to each individual franchise, the Championship Tag patch means so much more to those who have hoisted the trophy themselves. Both the Championship Tag and NBA Logoman memorabilia chases make their Flawless debut.
- Find autographs and prime memorabilia from NBA greats of yesterday, today and tomorrow.
