LAS VEGAS — During a rousing corporate address Tuesday at the 2014 Industry Summit, Panini America officials commanded the collecting world’s attention with a series of announcements and product previews that has the Twitterverse buzzing still today. Clearly, details surrounding the company’s revolutionary Panini Rewards program generated most of the headlines; but several product-specific enhancements presented during the address also had people talking.

Of the many coming developments Panini America Director of Product Development Jim Stefano touched on during his portion of the Tuesday address, perhaps none packed more impact with the rapt audience inside The Orleans Showroom than the future of Immaculate Basketball.

When the high-end memorabilia-card showcase returns to the market later this year, 2013-14 Immaculate Basketball will follow last season’s wildly successful debut by incorporating game-worn shorts and game-worn shoes from the NBA’s biggest stars. To be sure, both subsets of game-worn memorabilia offer the uniqueness and prime potential that collectors expect from Immaculate. To illustrate that point, today we offer a telling examination of the Immaculate-intended 2013 Christmas Day game-worn shorts from the likes of Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin, Stephen Curry, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, James Harden and more.

As you’ll see, the memorabilia delivers all the things collectors love about NBA memorabilia cards, including Logoman patches, multicolored prime possibilities and an undeniable cool factor. Enjoy the sneak peek and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage of 2013-14 Immaculate Basketball.
