The Panini America NBA team was hard at work over the weekend putting the finishing touches on packout for 2013-14 Gold Standard Basketball. As a result, my email inbox received a welcome dose of images from NBA Assistant Brand Manager Cory Hollingsworth, who was nice enough to share some flat-out sick images of a few patch cards that were randomly inserted into the product on Saturday afternoon.
Included in Hollingsworth’s email were some true multicolored marvels featuring some of the greatest players of all time — and his email included just a small fraction of the patch cards available in 2013-14 Gold Standard Basketball. Black Golds. White Golds. Bullion Brand Logos. They were on beautiful display Saturday. Now they’re on beautiful display in the gallery below.
