Ask 10 different collectors what their favorite part of Panini America’s annual Black Friday promotion set is and you’re likely to get at least four different answers. For some, it’s the multi-sport base set; for others, it’s the unique memorabilia cards or the strong autograph checklist.
But for many Black Friday devotees, it’s none of those things. Instead, it’s the rich parallel chases that can be found in the stunning Cracked Ice and HyperPlaid sets. So as we begin our unadulterated preview assault in advance of next week’s 2015 Black Friday madness, we thought we’d begin with the powerful parallels.
