One week from tonight, the 2015 NFL Draft will kick off in Chicago, setting in motion a dramatic series of events that will largely dictate the football collecting landscape for the next year. Make no mistake about it: The draft picks are coming — and Panini America’s 2015 Contenders Draft Picks Football is coming, too. The company’s first collegiate product since securing exclusive trading card rights to more than 400 colleges and universities over the winter, 2015 Contenders Draft Picks Football is hot on the presses as we speak.
Earlier today, we got our first look at the product thanks to a special delivery from the Panini America production facility: The first uncut sheets from three different forms, 100-up sheets of collegiate greatness featuring set staples such as Game Day Tickets, School Colors, Old School Colors, Passing Grades, Rush Week and more.
In the gallery that follows, we present a must-see examination of the set — including Panini America’s first trading cards of Jameis Winston, Marcus Mariota and the rest of the exciting 2015 NFL Draft Class.
