Panini America initiated an art-card renaissance of epic proportions last April with the bold reintroduction of the fabled Diamond Kings Baseball brand as a standalone product for the first time since 2005. The product was willingly embraced by a broad base of collectors — longtime DK fans and newcomers alike — and resonated as one of the most successful new launches of the 2015 product season.
Much of that winning recipe will remain intact in late March when Panini America delivers the highly anticipated encore — 2016 Diamond Kings Baseball — in late March. Each hobby box of 2016 Diamond Kings Baseball (eight cards per pack, 12 packs per box) will deliver two autograph or memorabilia cards, two Framed parallels, 24 Rookie Cards, two Aficionado, two Memorable Feats, two Expressionists, two DK Originals, two SPs and two DK Minis.
Other highlights of 2016 Diamond Kings Baseball include . . .
- The return of Babe Ruth! Look for legendary memorabilia in DK Materials, DK Minis Materials Framed, Elements of Royalty, Masters of the Game and DK Materials Jumbo.
- Five new memorabilia and autograph inserts with Elements of Royalty, Elements of Royalty Signatures, Limited Lithos Material, Limited Lithos Signature Materials and Diamond Deco.
- Find autographs of top 2016 rookies in Rookies Signatures. Each card pairs an autograph with two memorabilia swatches from the likes of Kyle Schwarber, Corey Seager, Miguel Sano and more.
