NEW YORK — On a Wednesday night in Yankee Stadium when bone-jarring freeze rendered thumbs too numb to Tweet (literally), Panini America officials attempted to stay warm during the NHL Stadium Series game between the New York Rangers and the New York Islanders by distributing thousands of free NHL sticker albums and packs of 2013-14 Score Hockey.
The flurry of activity on the Yankee Stadium concourse just outside section 104 made for a chilling, intense and enjoyable conclusion to a hectic Wednesday in New York that began in the morning when Panini America brought Pro Football Hall of Fame finalist Aeneas Williams to the NFL Shop at Macy’s Herald Square to sign autographs.
Indeed, between the NHL Stadium Series and continued activation surrounding Sunday’s Super Bowl XLVIII, Panini America officials have been bustling throughout the Big Apple.
