The sheer excitement and stunning pulls-of-a-lifetime that marked #FlawlessFriday yesterday have given way today to some of the craziest secondary-market sales the sports card industry has seen in many years. No matter how you look at it, Panini America’s 2012-13 Flawless Basketball — one of the most scrutinized high-end products in hobby history — is delivering huge numbers.
Earlier today, our friends over at Trading Card Blog began tracking the most staggering Flawless transactions with a running list of those cards that have commanded $1,000 or more on eBay. One card we didn’t see on their list was the one pictured above, a Kyrie Irving 1/1 that sold for the remarkable sum of $10,000 — yes, $10,000 — according to sortsof.com.
To help fan the flames of Flawless Frenzy, today The Knight’s Lance offers a quick look at nine impressive sales that attracted our attention while perusing eBay earlier today. After you check out those nine cards, stick around for a quick two-briefcase break gallery that an Atlanta Sports Cards customer was nice enough to share with us this morning.
Enjoy, and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for additional coverage of 2012-13 Flawless Basketball.
