In late October, a 2016 NFL collecting season earmarked by a string of product debuts (including the likes of Unparalleled, Origins, Impeccable and more to come) will add another promising new release to the calendar in Panini America’s 2016 Phoenix Football. As its sales solicitation material suggests, 2016 Phoenix Football “is sure to catch fire” and features “some of 2016’s top rookie combinations in both dual- and triple-patch autograph versions.”
Set to arrive on October 19, each box of 2016 Phoenix Football (five cards per pack, 12 packs per box, 16 boxes per case) will deliver three autograph or memorabilia cards, nine inserts or parallels and six Rookie Cards. For additional highlights of the product, keep reading.
Among 2016 Phoenix Football’s most impressive inclusions are . . .
- The stunning Rookie Patch Autographs set featuring the ultra-rare Nike Swoosh, Vapor Jet, Team Logo and NFL Shield versions.
- A colorful base set that includes Red and Pink versions and numbered Orange (#’d to 99), Yellow (#’d to 25) and Green (#’d to 10) versions; Blue and Printing Plate versions are numbered to only one.
- The Rookie Hot Materials insert featuring player-worn Gloves, Helmets, Helmet Logos and Nike Swoosh versions.
- Dual and Triple Patch Autographs offering some of the season’s top rookie combinations.
- The Adrenaline Rush insert honoring some of the greatest running backs in NFL history.
- The Veteran Autograph Materials insert featuring some of the NFL’s greatest current stars.
- In Retired Patches, look for memorabilia from some of the greatest legends to ever play the game, including 1/1 Super Prime versions.
- Look for RPS Rookie Auto Jerseys numbered to 249 and 99, with Patches versions numbered to 49 and 10, and 1/1 Prime versions including NFL Shields.
