Now that Panini America’s 2014-15 Prestige Basketball release and its various SKUs have had the chance to make their mark in Target stores across North America, we thought now might be a good time to take a look back with a retail review of sorts showcasing the highlights and differences between the Premium, Plus, Blaster and Hanger configurations.
In the comprehensive gallery that follows, we open one box of each to provide a visual examination of what collectors can expect — if you haven’t already experienced the product for yourself — from the first-ever Target-exclusive Prestige Basketball release.
Premium boxes carry a $199.99 SRP and deliver four autographs, one memorabilia card and cards printed on rainbow holofoil stock. Plus boxes carry a $64.99 SRP and deliver 10 packs (six cards each), three autograph or memorabilia cards and cards printed on mirrorboard stock. Seven-pack Blaster boxes (10 cards per pack) carry a $29.99 SRP and provide one autograph or memorabilia card per box and cards printed on traditional glossy stock. Ten-card Hanger boxes carry a $9.99 SRP and deliver one mystery Rookie Card per box.
