I went to the Pacers/Hornets game last night, and I got tons of autos (29 is what I brought home). It was VERY packed with people to get autos for the Hornets, so a lot of people (if they knew anybody or had people with them) was handing things around for the best chance of getting stuff signed. It was really fun, and I even got to buy a few things for my collections from a kid that I know up there (his ebay ID is nba_is_my_hobby). So these are what I bought from him:

Donta Smith signed Bazooka card that says Alan Anderson lol...the story is:
Alan Anderson said that the picture was not of him and for Donta to sign it, so Alan refused to sign it because the picture IS actually Donta, but Topps messed up!! lol
And then I got these autos before the game from the Hornets:
They are:
1 Bonzi Wells (the very bottom part of his auto by the Rockets logo smeared because he handed it back to me real fast and he was in a hurry so I couldn't grab a part of the card that wasn't inked, so my thumb was right in the ink when he handed it to me, but at least almost the whole thing did come out ok)
1 Jannero Pargo
2 Melvin Ely (some people asked for his email address to email him for autos and for shoes after the road trip and such, and he gave it out, but it was very sloppy so we guessed and we think we have it written down right, so I have his email if we read it right lol)
3 Mike James
1 Kenny Gattison (on index card; he was asking everybody where we got these neat little pieces of wood, and everybody told him "Uhh,... Home Depot!" lol)
1 Julian Wright (he chuckled about the pic lol)
1 Chris Paul!!!!! (the kid I was with (his name is Ryan) had some friends with him, and they went over to the other side to get CP3, and they got 2 cards signed total, and then Ryan asked me which I liked better (06-07 Topps Chrome signed base or Topps RC) and that I could have whichever I liked the most (I chose the one with the best auto). So that was very cool of him!
1 Tyson Chandler (very nice guy!!)
1 Ryan Bowen (8X10)
1 Peja Stojakovic (floorboard; I was the only person that Peja didn't sign for, so he must have known I already hate him as a player since he betrayed the Pacers lol. But Ryan gave me a floorboard signed by Peja right after Peja signed it so I got an auto of Peja after all. But Peja told me he'd get me, he kept looking at me, and I had my card out right in front of him with a sharpie so I don't know what his problem was. Peja also would take one pen, sign down one side of autographers, then throw the pen back to the front of the line with no cap on it, hitting anybody in the way getting ink everywhere lol, but gave the cap to a random person nearby. Ryan was so close to getting his CP3 jersey smeared in ink from Peja throwing a pen lol, but he got out of the way in time.
And then this is what my mom and dad got signed at the Pacers side:
2 Troy Murphy (first time this season for me finally!)
2 Ike Diogu
1 Ronald "Flip" Murray
2 Travis Diener
1 Mike Dunleavy
1 Granger (this 8x10 is a pic that I took on Dec. 22nd at the Wizards game, and now I have it auto'ed by him, pretty cool)
So I think we did great just on those, but the REAL GOOD stuff comes real soon...
I went to my seat during their warm-ups after they came back out of the locker room, and I got Boomer and Bowser to sign the program:
2nd time for Boomer, 1st time for Bowser for me this season. I know now that they change people that do the mascots as the Boomer autos are completely different lol
And right after I got Boomer, I texted Ryan if he was gonna get Larry Bird's auto again. Not long after that he called me and told me to meet him where we come in at. So I went up there and met him, he told me to follow him and he handed me this ticket and he told me not to lose it. It said on it "Best Locker Room Pass." Ryan gave it to me for free!! He told me that we were going to go down to the locker rooms and see if Tinsley was there and also wait for Larry Bird. So we went down the elevator, they checked out tickets, then we went through their restaurant, and out the doors. As we walked out, Danny Granger was standing there right by the door. He was stretching and waiting for his name to be called during starting lineups. We got to talk to him but not for long. He got his named called in the arena, and he ran through and I was the only one to get a five on the way in. But yeah, Danny is very nice if you wanted to know about his attitude--one of the nicest players I've met. And Jermaine O'Neal and Tinsley didn't show up in suits for the game so we didn't get autos from them if they would have been walking out by where Granger was.
So we were waiting for one of the teams to call a timeout since that's the only time Larry Bird signs autographs. It took almost the whole quarter, we couldn't believe it, especially since the Pacers were even winning lol (Hornets, call a timeout!!). But when they did, we went to where Larry Bird always sits, Ryan and I both got our tickets signed, and I told Larry thanks for signing and good luck with your new additional role with the Pacers and he told me that I was welcome for the autograph and thanks for the comment on his new role with the Pacers. So that was pretty cool By the time we walked away they were starting to play again. Ryan told me to take his signed ticket since he's gotten him before, so I came away with 2 Larry Bird autos!!! I can't believe it that I got to meet Larry Bird and get autos from him!! Plus they are the full signature like the ones he does for UD and Topps.
