nah, it'l be the seatle supersonics still.

any team that moves/starts in seattle will retain the names and colours/uniforms of the old sonics team.
that was the deal when they left for OKC..

Yeh i thought so but it ain't a bad name though. But still the Seattle Supersonics sounds better!

If someone buys NOLA, they won't move. And you think Stern would move them? If Kings go there, I'll feel sorry for Kings fans because that team has been there for ever!! Pacers maybe but then again they are a bball town. What about ATL? That place is always empty!!!

Come on you Australian guys ! New Orleans Is an amazing place ! I lived there for a couple years ... New York and Louisiana are the 2 places that everything you hear about them Is true ... they're so different than anywhere else In the U.S. ... I truely hope the Hornets stay put and get something going again ! ... Who cares about Seattle !? ... they had their chance ! ... I do like that Pacers team though.

Indiana is basketball crazy. However, interest in college ball there will almost always outweigh interest in the pros. Kind of like the NFL in places like Florida & Georgia.

So whilst my "FabFiveFan" tag may not suggest it, my NBA team of choice is the Pacers, and I for one am absolutely loving their resurgence this season, though the seeds of success have been planted over the last few years, with the drafting of Granger, Hibbert & George who now fill out 3 of our starting positions, and the clever trading for Collison (what has Troy Murphy done since?) and picking up West was the best free agent pickup we could have got for our team. West was not the best player out there this off season, but for what we needed, he was a no-brainer. He has made Hibbert better (an All-Star no less) and helps keep the floor spaced for our shooters in Granger and George (whose cards I collect btw).
So dont sleep on your team Indiannapolis, get into the games and see a great fast paced, well balanced team that can compete with anyone this year, having already knocked off East leading Chicago and also Lakers recently, so GO PACERS, and dont dare move.
