Hi Admin & Mods, I have a question regarding the OzCards reimbursement policy so hopefully one of you can help me.

I have been approached to do a few trades with members of this message board that are not from Australia, I mainly joined this forum so I could trade with fellow Australians as it is less hassel. If I was to trade with a member of this forum (and detail it on the Trades Board) who is not from Australia am I still covered by the OzCards reimbursement policy ???
Thanks for your time
regards

LOLOL... sorry richo.... its not like we pay to be here...rack up 5 trades locally then if they have under 5 rating there suppost to send first...theres no way the mods here are going to cover trades ,purchaces....
Ps... i still havnt received my psa 10 jordan rookie card ,i think it got lost in the mail !!!

What about this then:

The Ozcardz Guide To Completing A Successful Trade.

Before you make any transactions and reply to posts on the OZC forums, please take a minute to read and understand the following rules listed below. Failure to follow these rules will result in suspensions or even complete removal from the site.

1. As a new rookie member of OZCardz, you will be required to send first on your first 5 transactions (trades, sales or buys). Once you have completed 5 successful transactions and received 5 positive feedbacks, you will then be upgraded to regular TR member status where you will no longer have to send first.

2. Document all agreed upon trades in the OZC Trader Agreement forum. We do this so both parties can see and verify the agreement and then keep it on record . Failure to do this will void the OZC reimbursment policy offered to all its members.

3. Always send cards out in a timely fashion, the only exception being if you are trading with a OZC rookie member (where they have to send first) or if its agreed by both parties that sending at a later date is acceptable. Otherwise all cards or funds should be sent out within 48hrs of transaction agreement.

4. Treat all OZCardz guests, members, mods, staff and sponsors with kindness and respect. We will not tolerate any abusive language, racial slurs, or cursing on our boards. We will also not tolerate any pornographic material or links to such material on the OZC forums or your OZC profiles.

5. ABSOLUTELY NO promoting or spamming of other sites on OZCardz. NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule. Spamming of other sites on OZCardz will result in being banned. If you have a site you would like to share with the OZC members, please contact a OZC mod and ask if its acceptable. If approved we will do all we can to help promote.

6. If you have a trade problem that you have tried without success to resolve, please go to the OZC Trade Dispute Forum and post your problem. One of our brilliant mods will assist you and help to resolve your problem. Please do not make posts or complain anywhere else but in this one area. We do have a reimbursement policy but understand we will do our best to help recover any lost or stolen items.

7. Once a transaction is complete and you have received your end of the agreement. Please post feedback for that person.

8. Do not post sales posts or Ebay links in any of the "trade forums". Please post them in the "sales forums" or "ebay links" only.

9. Trades agreed upon outside of the OZC forums or on other sites CAN NOT BE documented as a trade in the OZC trade agreement forum.

10. If suspended or banned from OZC, you are NOT permitted to sign up under a different username and re enter the site. If you are caught doing this we will ban your ISP permenantly from the site.

11. No one is to share or allow anyone else to use your OZCardz account. Do NOT trade, sell or make any transactions for a non member of OZC.

12. If a member on probation tells you otherwise when you request they send first, please alert a mod or staff member asap.

I hope everyone takes a minute to check out the rules. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact any staff member.

Thanks, Magicman.

huh, i never saw that before, id like magic to explain what is the reimbursment policy exactly?

yeah the thing is those rules were written up a long time ago, when there was about 20 members on ozcards, maybe they need a rewrite mods?

=D> Well done.. must have been modifyed as im sure that wasnt the case when i joined...
Seems odd they would have such a policy,,but see what the head honchos have to say

You could well be right ?!?

I guess Chad may be able to answer my question anyways - That is why I addressed it to Admin or Mods, not you plebs (tic)(lol).

Marcus (Allstar) you have hit the nail on the head. We cannot be held responisible for any lost items in the mail or anything. However if theres a problem that arises we need to be notified. Then we begin the process of trying to redeem the lost items and so, so...

I apologise as i wrote those rules a long time ago and i do indeed need to update them :) . Hope this helps ya Richo. But ill give you a Gold star for actually Reading our forum Guidelines :) .

I would have thought that was a typo - should have said "We DON'T have a reimbursement policy but will assist where possible"

And yes, we have been quiet. Chad is busy at the moment living on some remote island playing his own version of Survivor.
