Well I was just flicking through the october issue of Beckett, and who do I see in the Supercollector section??

Ive tried scanning the Article but it just isnt coming up well. Here's what it says:

Celtics, Mate
I'm from Adelaide, Australia. I'm 22 years old and have been collecting Antoine Walker for eight years and thought I'd hit you up with some pictures of my collection. As you can see, I collect a bit more than cards and there was a ton of other stuff I didn't get a chance to take photos of.
I have autographed Celtics and Miami Jerseys, game-worn rookie season shorts, autographed Sports Illustrated and other magazines, photos, pennants, a signed game ball, figurines, magazine covers, newspapers, bobble heads, advertisements, shirts, game programs, media guides, tickets, posters, coins etc. I think you get the idea. I have more than 1,200 different Antoice Walker cards. Matt, Adelaide Australia

Matt, what's the deal with the Celtics in Australia? Nearly every collector who's contacted us from Australia is a Boston Celtics fan. I bet that makes the competition over Celts items tough. Great collection and glad to hear we have so many readers down under. KH

What can I say I'm absolutely stoked! They didn't even tell me they were going to run with it! I just sent them a quick note and a couple of photos and told them to let me know if it made it through as I'd move stuff around to get it all in the one shot. Also so I was in the shot!

Oh well, I always loved this section and admired all the massive collections. Didn't think I'd ever have what it takes but I guess its got a bit out of hand the last few years.

Still on the current Beckett (but slightly off topic) what's the deal with all the black and white pages for articles (including Supercollector and letters) It's like they're getting to scummy to even print in colour on glossy paper!!
And if anyone has ever compared the NBA Beckett to the NHL, NFL or MLB ones we NBA fans are getting severely ripped off with the lack of content and articles in the mag. [/end rant]

Congrats on getting to the supercollector in Beckett! I've had it suggested to me a couple of times to send one in, but I'm not quite up there yet with most other Player Collectors.

Your Collection is topps man (as well as Upper Deck, Fleer, etc, LOL). Nah excellent stuff buddy!

Hope we can see some more fellow Aussies in the Mag's!!!
