Due to interest to proceed, and 4 days which seem OK, let's give the masses a chance to vote.

The 4 days are -

Sat 12th Nov
Sun 13th Nov
Sat 19th Nov
Sun 20th Nov

I have set the poll to finish on Tuesday 8th Nov (hopefully), so this will give us a few days.

Come on guys, time to get off our collective asses, and actually do something. We all said it would be a cool idea, and yet none of you seem to be interested. Time for action!!!

Also, if you want in, please post your interest in this thread (and box you will be breaking - if you know what you'll break).
 
I'm fine with any of the days. I'll let you know which box I will be breaking, as soon as a box of my interest comes up on eBay. I had great luck with the 04-05 Fleer Skybox LE and I wouldn't mind doing it again.

Actually, I'll have a look around eBay now, to see which boxes are available this week.

I think this would be fun and I hope this special event will get it's green light with many/most if not all of our dedicated members to participate.

I'll go for the 20th, but only if I can find a box for the right price. If worst comes to worst I could just buy a few cheap packets from somewhere (If that would still count). Work commitments might make it a bit of a problem for me as far as time goes, but ahh well.
 
i'm going weekend of the 19-20 as i'm off work and i should have either 03-04 ud legends or 04-05 spx. i'll do one of em for it if its that weekend
 
I'm keen. I have some boxes I'm expecting, but I don't think I can wait that long too crack them! :lol:
I'm having trouble with a package from the US containing my 2x 04/05 SP GU and my 04/05 SP Sig tin. It was sent Global Priority and hasn't turned up yet after approx. 2 weeks so if they ever do turn up, I might save one for the day. :D
 
Shihad (and everyone else) - I guess if you can't get a box, a couple of packs would suffice. That may encourage more people to break product.

As for date. 20th looks preferred, due to later date allowing more time to get boxes/packs in.
 
Okay cool... if that's the date, then I'm all good for it. I'm thinking of giving UD Hardcourt another chance. I'm currently negotiating with an eBayer for 3x 05-06 UD Hardcourt for a decent price. And I'm also thinking of getting one 04-05 UD SPx, depending on the ending price.

Can we break more than one box on the night, clarkey?

Hey, I can't really forbid you from breaking more than 1 box...

I would think that it would be best, on the day, for everyone to do a break each, and then those who have multiple boxes can then break them after everyone else.
 
my 94/95 skybox arrived today

so i'll try and organise my mate to come round so we can bust it!
