Just regarding the storage of top end cards it seems from the pics that have been posted most people store theirs in a dual screwdown. Is this the best and safest way?

As you can see with my pic, I just keep them in my folder in a regulation 9-card sleeve (and a penny sleeve as well).
Just the way I've always done it - hopefully they stay in good condition. Makes them easier to grab if the house is burning down if they're all in the same folders!
Please lmk why its not safe? Ive had the Lockyer All Star Sig in one for the longest now and it still looks brand new. I do worry if i had to take it out if the auto would be marked or something. I took my Ikin All Star out and its perfect.
The 03 XL Jersey cards on the other hand are a worry in these (as they are thicker the redemption card can slip out) but if u dont move them its all good.
I like mine on the shelf so i can look at them, but lmk if u know of past dramas...
The scariest part is putting them in and hoping you dont close it on the side of the card. Then i worry about fading and/or the signature sticking to the plastic.
Its not worth the risk imo. Magnetic one touches or toploaders for mine.

Yeah no direct sunlight or any direct light. the signature sticking to the plastic is what i worry about but they will stay in there.
The inside is a very smooth plastic of these black ones but really same deal as a penny sleeve pushed against it in a folder with hundreds of other cards all around it....
