Hey all here's how my Glove PC website looks atm. http://theglovecollection.weebly.com/

I'm looking to update it with a whole bunch of new cards since its last update and im worried its going to look messy going on with the same technique.
How should i set up the site to look a little neater?

*Put collections into year pages eg 1991-92 1992-93 etc
*Keep them as Auto, GU, Inserts and they in year in each category
*Brands

Any other ideas?

Cheers Nick

Thanks to the overwhelmingly quick response in here I decided it'll be layed out in year/set order as per Beckett's checklist. Now the painstaking task of taking individual photos of over 800 cards then uploading. FML! Worst part of this damn hobby.

I like the idea of sorting by year. I'm keen to start and Aminu PC website but would only be able to sort by 3 years.

Lucky! Spent 4hrs last night and only got pics from 1990-1994 and they were the lean years for his cards. SMH, what have I got myself into.

You have got yourself into a constant battle of trying to keep your PC website up to date, a battle that many lose.

The year by year thing is how I work it as seen here http://33wing.weebly.com/index.html, I printed out the old beckett list back before they upgraded and I use that as a checklist when my purchases come in, it's also handy when I'm searching eBay and need to know if I have a certain card.

It's a painful process but worth it in the end, I haven't touched my site for nearly a year and It needs a desperate update.

Nice site Maso, I didn't even think to put a memorabilia section. Thats how im looking to make mine.
Just a question, are you down sizing your pics at all through some kind of photoshop program or just uploading straight from your phone/camera? I just dont want to run out of storage on weebly.

Also mate just a little thing I reckon may look better is keep cards from the same parallel set together. I know beckett have them all over the place but keeping say base/silver/gold/atomic together of each card looks nicer then base card 1/ base card2/ atomic card 1/ atomic card 2/ silver card1 etc imo

Mate stick to photobucket!!!!! when u have so many so any cards just piling in week after week from different years it's the only site that orders them correctly. It's fricken crap with regards to layout and design customisation that being said I've received emails from weebly wix and the 50 million other sites I've tried about new design so things might have changed

I sent a message to weebly a few years ago because storage was an issue but they have fixed that issue now. The only changes I make are reducing the size of each pic.

I agree about keeping the mini sets together, I plan on doing group shots of all the mini sets as well as putting all the best cards from each year at the top of each page then have all the base at the bottom.

Good luck with the site.
