Opinions needed on buying boxes from internet sites from the US

hi there. Im planning to buy 3 boxes of basketball cards from the US (06/07 spx & sp authentic & 08/09 ud basketball presell). I've been browsing thru thecardkid.com and dacardworld.com, both offering pretty good prices. is there anyone here that has bought boxes from shops in the us?

plus, will we get taxed by the customs for the 3 boxes of cards? from what i've searched on the internet, as long as the values of the items purchased on the internet is less than AU250, it should be fine.

For piece of mind I would certainly go through one of the more reputable dealers like Dave and Adams (who are one of our sponsors).

Or if you are willing to buy locally there are some great sellers here.

They will certainly help you out!

i actually thought the limit was au1000

I've just received 4boxes from dacardworld which are about $500,and no tax required.

The limit is now $1000AUD for most shippers.

Theres a few sellers around - Dave and Adam's Card World : Online Shopping for Trading Cards or Baseball cards, baseball trading cards, upper deck basketball cards, basketball for newer stuff are two sites that I have used for buying from and both are great.
