why are you asking us mate, you said it yourself that you are the number 1 authority on cards..................lol, seriously though, I have not ever seen one with a thick marker.............its interesting for sure.
Well in later sets those certificates are signed the date they're redeemed (my 1996 Johns signed MVP is like that) but the black marker sig is the big alarm for me. I certainly wouldn't risk $250 on it.
The thing that is impossible to totally replicate is the Dynamic letterhead paper. I spose if anyone wants to win that auction we can see if that certificate has proper Dynamic letterhead paper, or if it's come off a desktop printer.
Everything else can be forged, but usually they don't seem to get it 100% right (like with the sig here).
I never knew they were signed in blue. 1994 S1 is in black but I know they used crappy blue in 1996.
BTW Owen, what will it cost me for one of those Lamb's?
yeah i havent forgotten mate. let me know wat ur chasing again for it. yeah just a lil bit overpriced. BUT i saw a 1994 masters 110 card set go for $100 plus delivery the other day lmao all i could think was u lucky b*stard hahaha. id be a millionare if those prices kept up an we all would be rofl
hey buddy went thru my 1994 folder today when i was sorting stuff out. my terry lamb is signed with a fine point blue pen but my meninga is signed with a thicker black marker...my COAs all match the redemption numbers and the number on the card and i got my card from Tony B so im pretty confident mine is legit
