Alrighty I had a chance to have a go last night, 3 in fact.
Used: NBA Live 2006 (PS2)
Rookie setting, 2min quarters, simulation.
Man this was weird! I have NEVER played this game on anything but Superstar! I can;t lose on Superstar, so this was a piece of cake
My first go was by far the best but here's all 3.
Penny Hardaway:
To Prove the time (left) and stats (right) (44p, 1r, 10a, 1b, 12s, 18/22FG):
2nd, Lebron James:
Just stats cause CBF (50p, 4r, 2a, 0b, 10s, 23/30FG, 1/3F3s):
3rd, Dwight Howard:
Just stats again (50p, 4r, 0a, 3b, 4s, 21/23FG):
I reckon I could quite easily give 1 player 30+ assists in a game of this. And points, might be pushing it to get much more than I did with the 2nd 2, but reckon I could break 60.
Wanna see something crazy? Alrighty, well this breaks 2 key rules, but here tis.
I used Larry Bird from 80s All-Stars (just realised my Penny above also is rule breaker )
NBA Live 2006, PS2
12min quarters, Simulation, Rookie
My goal was to score as many points as possible. Here's the result.
I don;t know which is crazier, this statline or me for doing it...
Nope, give him the ball, carry the ball, go to the rack. Simple! It's being played on rookie! The only way you can turn the ball over with any player is if you're trying to steal it and you knock it loose and it goes out of bounds (on my game they call that a turnover to you).
