Thats also calling the kettle black, thats like me saying QLD were so desperate for players the took Greg Inglis who was NSW born (even with the criteria now in place Greg Inglis is still NSW). However with the new criteria Luke keary isn't classed a Queenslander (more answers are NSW than QLD)

Greg Inglis wanted to play for QLD so did Luke Keary. Unfortunately the citeria was changed to stop Luke Keary playing for QLD. I still say for Luke Keary that if your born in a state you should be given the option to play for it.
My point was more aimed at hobo (Ross) that over time players from different states (and countries) have played for the state they weren't born in so you should look at the players who have played for your state before you make a comments about players who have played for the other state.
My kids live were born in Liverpool, live in Chipping Norton and go for QLD. They are quite adamant they will never pull on a Blues jersey (unless of course, they play Sheffield Shield). It will come as a great shock to them if they ever wish to represent in SoO.
And to be honest SoO will be irrelevant in 10 years time. We will have a truly (inter)national NRL and will be playing Aust vs NZ as the pinnacle of the game, as will playing for Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, etc.
