So when sending It says in penny sleave first what about the thicker cards are they fine in just top loaders ?

I would say no. Best to sleeve them as well. I guess if you don't have thick sleeves, then put two on either side of the card and tape it up before putting into a toploader.

oh just the man at the market, guess i shulda asked. when i collected in the 90's the cards were all one thickness

Penny sleeves come in different sizes too mate - there are thicker ones to accommodate those really thick GU and patch cards etc.
