Upperdeck > Panini (Designs speak for themselves - Advantage Ewing)

Ewing > Harden (Ewing has achieved a whole heap but yes, the youngster does have impressive facial hair! One guy has been to the NBA Finals and the other guy almost averages 13ppg. Nothing personal against Harden - he has achived a lot more than Pondexter! But it has to be advantage Ewing)

On card autos > Sticker autos (Most of the Panini stuff is stickered which takes away a lot of the allure, on card autos are a big plus imo. Graded and slabbed autos are even better because it attests to the quality of the card too. In the same respect the upside down 1/1 auto is definitely unique and special but screams the exact opposite of quality - still could rate a 10/10 but it's just wrong! Triple auto hand serialled /15 with Bird and Magic is probably my favourite card in the final showdown. Advantage Ewing)

Patches & Tags (Harden dropped three quality monster patches on us and Ewing had some decent patches and a nice tag - but he patches on the Hardens were way better and clearly screamed OKC Thunder. Ewing's were Exquisite and Black but just lacked the variety of colours and breaks which for me what a good patch should be! Advantage Beard)

Other stuff (Harden has the low numbered parallels and refractors but the Exquisite GU and iconic first ever GU have the edge here. The all time great centres reminds me of how Ewing compares at the Centre position to the greats of the game and what he respectively achieved, while the other multi GU takes us back to the great rivalries and battles in the 90s and 00s when I believe basketball was at it's finest - Knicks v Bulls etc. everybody loves a low number and refractors but it also serves to remind me of Panini's endless parallel sets. Soooooo advantage Ewing)


All up - I'm a 90s guy and those Ewings brought me back to what he was all about and his accomplishments which is what a PC should be all about. Ewing has my vote!
