EMAIL SENT TO whatifsports.com re the upcoming simulations!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi guys, love the site, we are using it to run an all-time draft comp for fun on a card collecting site in Australia. Just after more info if you have it so I can pass it on to the group.
Is fatigue a factor in the dream team simulations? Like if someone wanted to use their best 5 players for the entire 48 mins would it really matter or are subs better?
Will the sim automatically use the players best season or their best statistics PER CATEGORY of their best season or what is used? eg takes Kobe Bryant highest average points, rebounds, assists etc when used in the matchup?
Any other useful info or tips would be muchly appreciated!
Cheers
Matt

Matthew,
No, fatigue is not a factor in the Dream Team simulations. While fatigue isn't a factor, players' performance can be penalized if they have a higher usage in the simulation than in real life. For example, if you ask Steve Kerr to take 20 shots in a game, his shooting percentage will suffer and his turnovers will rise.
When creating a roster, you have to pick a single player season, so the stats used for simulation are based on the player's performance in that season.
