Based on what has been written on past Traders Boxes, it looks like player selections are finalised within the first two weeks of November. Crichton signed in December I believe.
Good read that article......Crichton too busy signing his cards to sign his Souffs contract.
The Jason Clark story is a sad one. Great club man in the era of cash. He was in our U20s and highly regarded. As never shirked his duty, always rolled up his sleeves and got down n dirty when he needed to. I can understand the game has probably passed him by, sadly but still a wonderful bloke and a Souths man through n through.
Here's the story here:

I can't find the link, but I'm pretty sure every Top Prospect, Young Gun and Future Force card ever signed were by players who came and went.
Good read that article......
I'll think twice before bagging him this week during the Charity Shield.
It' a shame these days players are less able to be "a one club man"

The thing about loyalty is that it is a two way street . The clubs have used and abused players for years so it’s a bit rich to blame the players . Ask Robbie Farah about loyalty haha. Or the numerous players that have had career ending injuries and have been forgotten about .If you earn 100k and someone offers you 200 , you take it every day of the week .

I’ve never been a Farah fan but he took unders for years as he was promised a back ended deal .He could of bailed years earlier and taken bigger $$$ but was a junior and wanted to be a one club man .Farah was average for quite a few years IMO. He would have been on top dollar too so I can't feel sorry for him.
Agree with your point in general though
Yeah there is , how would the storm and the roosters field teams lol. This article was in yesterday’s Daily Telegraph !! Tells the story . Really is unfair to teams like the warriors, knights etc that don’t have the luxury of the storm style TPA’s!!With the NRL payments to clubs covering entire cap, there's no need for TPAs.

As a team collector a bit disappointed they did away with Pieces of the Puzzle.....would have given me something different to collect with McInnes being Top Tackler anyhow....
I also have a question for Team collectors do you collect the card from a Rep team sub sets if your team has a player in it?
If so what do you do with a player who represented last year S.O.O. but in 2018 (the year of the release) plays for another club? In particular Dugan in my example? I'm going to collect it and also add in Ben Hunt but just curious about how particular we get as collectors.
Cheers
Ross
I don't get SOO or Test cards for my team pc.
But...
I also collect SOO and Test subsets so I have them in full anyway.
Yes I do collect rep cards of my teams players whether they have left or joined the team so will be getting Hayne SOO
