Official 2014-15 NBA Regular Season Thread

Yep a first rounder (projected pick 2 in mock draft world) and that's it. No second rounder. They'll take the best player available, no question. Okafor or Mudiay they need help in every position not SF.

Denver was HUGE over Memphis. Grizzlies were very flat today - coach got himself ejected to try get them going. Still nothing.

PS - the Nuggs rook Jusuf Nurkic has some talent! Possible draft sleeper!

that spread today in the grizzles vs nuggets looked suspect but then i remember they were back to back and Zachs still not playing.
Still did not think they would get so blown out.

Watched the first 3 quarters of the Clippers vs Sixers and thinking Cp3 would pick up a triple double but then i look at the nba app for an update (i went to play ball down at the local courts with some mates) and see his stats still the same so im assuming he did not play any of the 4th which is a god dam shame they keep blowing out theses low tier teams.

Cp3 came off the worst game hes had all season and could say the same as Blake Griffon (against the Warriors) so good to see both them back (Griffin had an ok game but once again boards are missing).

was suprised that Hawks imho blew out the Blazers (they basically had 10-20 of them most of the game until mid 4th then they got that W. Good to see Batum and Matthews playing good (Matthews leads the nba in treys atm).

The Hawks are easily the most under rated team. First the critics said it was because their in the east, but they're beating the best western conference teams as they go. They're playing great ball and are far more dangerous than someone like Cleveland even with a healthy lebron imo.

I don't understand how people still dont rate them. Only worrying thing is what happens in playoffs when nasty defence comes into play are they strong enough? Do they have that KD or lebron to take the game on their own when they are down?

i think the fact that they have so many options this season makes them a threat for a deep run out east if they stay healthy. Millsap is playing out of his skin and Horford is only now starting to find his form.
