Interesting stat is that MJ has got 5600 assists to go with 32K points and would have easily gotten that milestone too (he averages about 300-400 assists per season) if he didn't retire once for baseball and then for 3 years before he became a Wiz. When you think about the missed opportunity, MJ could have easily scored 40,000 points in his career if he hadn't retired twice. Still the GOAT even with taking that time off to gamble and play golf!

@AlexKennedyNBA: If Sixers lose to Wolves on Wednesday, they'll tie the record for worst start to a season in NBA history at 0-18. 2009-10 Nets started 0-18.
Anthony Davis 21 pts and 9 rebounds at the break.. He's definitely in talks for MVP consideration this season and easily the best centre in the league this season. 25 ppg, 11rpg, 3 bpg and shooting .55fg and .80ft.

He's def in contention but that all lies in where they sit going into the playoffs imo i don't think anyone has won a MVP when there team hasn't done well ? can anyone correct that if im wrong ?.
Double OT mavs vs bulls

Yep, I don't think he'll win it because of their winning percentage but he'll definitely be in discussions. No one has really stood out as being the leading candidate for MVP this season yet IMO. I think Marc Gasol and Steph Curry are on top of the list for who I think are favorites to win MVP given their team success and their individual stats.
Sounds about right @exzibit3 , would like to see AD get it hes playing on another level compared to anyone else just lacks the surrounding players like the other 2 you talked about have. Not saying his team is scrubs by any mean but just don't have a Zbo,Conley & Klay +co around him.
Good games today
