I'm not worried about Bennett. His just taking a while to adjust to the NBA game. Once he does start to adjust and hit his shots, I see him as becoming a 12-15 point scorer off the bench along with about 6 rebounds. That's all we need from him, to be a productive player off the bench.
He has been garbage and needs to sort himself out, at least for my fantasy teamactually, too late, I had to drop him.
This pick by the Cavs, baffles me. I hear he's out of shape but he did have a pre-season of sorts. Unless Cavs are gonna trade a big this is just a waste of a pick. They're trying to win so why didn't they grab somebody NBA ready?
@NBA: Just Announced: @MCW1 (20.7ppg, 3-0) of the @Sixers & @KevinLove (29.7ppg, 3-0) of the @MNTimberwolves named NBA Players of the Week.
@chadfordinsider: Michael Carter-Williams named Eastern Conference Player of the Week. First rookie to win the award in opening week since Shaq.
I didn't like the pick at the time, but 4 Games in and people are already calling Bennet a bust....
His coming back from shoulder surgery not to forget. He may not be shooting well (trying too many 3s) but his being productive. He definitely needs to get in better shape but as the season goes on he will definitely improve, patience is the key.
Bennett has started his NBA career 0-15 from the field in his first 3 games, still yet to hit a field goal...

8 of the 15 being 3 Pointers, his pressing to hard...his obviously quite nervous...time will tell
Cavaliers rookie forward Anthony Bennett, taken with the No. 1 pick in the draft, missed all three of his shots and is 0 for 15 from the field this season. His only points have come on two free throws in the season opener. ESPN.com - See more at: http://hoopshype.com/rumors.htm#sthash.tUSla1oj.dpuf
Magic guard Victor Oladipo told me after the club’s win against the Brooklyn Nets that he would be interested in competing in the slam-dunk contest during All-Star Weekend. Oladipo turned in an eye-opening audition Sunday night, completing a 360-degree dunk off a steal from Nets point guard Deron Williams. Kevin Love “loves” New York, a positive sign for the Knicks with the summer of 2015 in mind. The Timberwolves’ superstar power forward is scheduled to become a free agent and the Knicks are projected to have plenty of salary cap room by then. If Jim Dolan, Steve Mills and Co. ever could convince Love to take up permanent residence in New York, the Knicks wouldn’t have to deal with the two-time All-Star who has basically owned them since entering the league six years ago. defend him all you like - there's no excuse for any NBA player going 0-15Like Harsha said he's coming off shoulder surgery, hence the reason he still needs to lose some weight. People need to understand that Bennett is a long term progress for the future. His not a player that is asked to come into the NBA and flat out dominate from game 1. His also dealing with asthma and sleep apnea which doesn't help. Give him time, he will be fine

plus he did play in the preseason games... so it affects him now but not then... i smell copout haha

I totally agree, I was following his preseason form which wasn't horrible so the shoulder surgery excuse is a bit lame.
Bennett may end up great. I still think the Cavs have wasted a no. 1 pick.
The guy can rebound well AND knock down the 3 so he'll most likely be fine.
I just think the Cavs should either play him in to shape or they should have taken someone else. Like Oladipo who is ready to rock.
I don't think anybody here has said he's a bust. It's only early days.
Michael Redd has not announced his retirement from the NBA, but the veteran guard will not return to the NBA and has ended his career, according to a report.
Redd turned down a training camp invitation in October.
Redd averaged 19 points and 3.8 rebounds in his 12-year NBA career, including back-to-back seasons of 25.4 points and 26.7 points per game in 2005-06 and 2006-07.
Redd spent 11 of his 12 seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks and gave them a prolific scorer when healthy.
Redd also was part of the gold medal-winning Team USA in the 2008 Olympics.
