We didn't need to draft a superstar player at number one. Even before the draft, we had our starting five set, so we just needed more depth, that's why drafting Bennett made sense. His taking a whole to adjust, but he's going to be a very good player in the future.

They would have been better trading down in the draft for a already proven "productive player".

We were shopping the pick right before the draft, guess we didn't get a deal we liked. Bennett is still an extremely talented player and is going to be a productive player

Could've drafted a star and used them as tradebait! NO picked up Noel and traded him for Jrue Holiday and Noel is doubtful to play a singe game this year!

That's the definition of a wasted pick! trade down and get a quality player and high draft pick to still get him.I can assure you if the cavs had done that, they'd be looking better than they are now.

Exactly! They could have got a decent player AND 5-7th pick and Bennett may well have been still on the board by then! lol

Yeh, Philly would need to put it all together to topple the Warriors... but they were paying $6 for a win margin of 1-10 (from memory) couldnt pass that up with their current form.

Cleveland know how to give me a heart attack! Wow. Up 16 with 5 min left and win by 1. Happy with the win but c'mon. Gotta hold big leads. And the Wolves are going to be a powerhouse team. If they can just tighten up their defense, will be very dangerous come playoff time. Great to see Bynum playing 17-18 minutes today, was active, hit his free throws, made a difference on the defensive end and maybe most importantly building his confidence! Gonna be intresting to see how the Philly fans treat him on Saturday! And I think the MVP for the Cavs so far this season has been CJ Miles. His brough great energy off the bench in every game, hitting his shots, not forcing the issue, and his buying into Mike Browns defensive system! He could be a sleeper for sixth man of the year if he keeps this up.

We were trying to trade the pick up until draft day! We obviously didn't get an offer we liked so we kept the pick. Plus the offers wouldn't have been that great because this years 'weak' draft class. So we kept the pick and took the player we thought was the most talented player. Sure he didn't score again today but his starting to make a difference on rebounding and on the defensive end. The offence will come. Just gotta be patient.

Rockets, as much as it pains me to say...the real D12 has returned. LA never got to see the proper healthy D12. Houston will be pretty good this year.

lol only jus checked the scores in this game. Clips tearin it up atm.
