Heading into Saturday night's game against the Nets – and with an All-Star snub still boiling in his mind - the 23-year-old Pacers guard told the Daily News he's motivated to unleash his anger on Joe Johnson and the Nets. "I already had a chip on my shoulder and it made me even worse," Stephenson said about not making the Eastern Conference reserves. "Now I'm going to kill everybody who is in front of me." Former Portland Trail Blazers forward Luke Babbitt and the New Orleans Pelicans have reached an agreement on a two-year deal, a league source informed CSNNW.com. Babbitt, 24, was playing for BC Nizhny Novgorod of the Russian Professional Basketball League before he left the team recently with the intention of signing with New Orleans. However, BC Nizhny Novgorod wasn’t facilitating that move having issued a statement saying that they will not sign his absentee letter, disallowing him to sign with any other team. The two sides reached a buyout yesterday and Babbitt is expected to report to New Orleans on Tuesday. CSNNW.com - See more at: http://hoopshype.com/rumors.htm#sthash.3HnxoGn5.dpuf

There would appear to be a simple solution to Bennett's playing-time problem: the D-League. An assignment to the NBDL would give Bennett the playing time he needs to get in shape and a chance to rebuild his confidence against lesser competition. Bennett is open to that option. "I heard it helped out Shabazz [Muhammad] real well," Bennett said, referring to the Timberwolves' rookie who was drafted 14th. "Any way to help, I'm with it." Big time 3 there in the final seconds. KG had 3 chances to grab the rebound in the last minute or 2 and each time it slipped out of his hands and out of bounds, never seen it before!
Deron back to starter , struggled.
The one that got away there!
