Lakers getting Howard is great for them but I think its the addition of Nash, Jamison & maybe Meeks is more helpful for their quest of another championship. Howard basically just replaced Bynum who is not really useless.

This season hopefully is a great one, the good teams are great but there is such a big gap to the rest.. Who will have the league best record?? Philly should be really strong, great coach, miami got even better and the celtics will still be there abouts. Lakers will be right up there, spurs will somehow fo what they do and be up there and will be interesting to see if okc can back up there great season. Come on november!!

It'll also be good to get back to a regular season of 82 games....with training camps and a full pre-season of warm-up games. The impact of missing those elements (or having them significantly reduced) can not be measured and therefore renders the championship won by Miami as illegitimate as it wasn't a true and traditional NBA season.
