To me, this gets the Lakers to the Finals, not sure if they can get past the Heat with the self belief they now have in that team.
I don't think Orlando did that great out of this. Denver did nicely. They have alot of scorers, now have one of the best defenders. Great move for them.
Pau seems like the Ultimate team man. He's impressed me how he's handled everything. The Lakers will not find a better passing big man to help with the Princeton offense. Not sure who they would go for???
Dumb if you ask me. I don't think he'll mind if Dwight is the focus down low. Whereas he can't have enjoyed it being Bynum.
As a Cleveland fan.. I don't believe Jamison as a solid pick up. I've watched him put up points for my bad team in the past 2 years and sure he's averaged 15-18ppg but his efficiency is horrible and he plays absolutely atrocious defence, if any at all.
In fact, I would rate him as one of the worst defenders in the league. He's obviously going to bring alot of veteran presence and leadership off that Laker bench, but i just am keen to see how he goes. He won't have he minutes he got in Cleveland to score those points, let alone the shots he needs to put up those points.
It's going to be very interesting to watch the Lakers this season, a core of Kobe, Nash, Howard and Gasol is good absolutely no doubt. I just don't think Jamison will be as good of a pick up as everyone seems to think he'll be.

He's a consumate professional, can knock down the shot. Exactly what the Lakers need. He was playing with scrubs in Cleveland and probably also HAD to take alot of bad shots coz other guys were'nt good enough to get their own.
He now has Dwight Howard protecting the rim behind him so I'd say he'll be fine. He can now pressure the wings knowing if they go by him they've got Dwight to deal with.
Now I've had another look, I think Philly have done well. I like Iggy but they have wing guys. They've added the 2nd best C in the League + J. Rich who's pretty solid.
They'll be pushing for the 5th spot in the East maybe?
