The REAL reason why Blair isn't getting minutes is because nothing he can do can compare to the chemistry between Diaw and Parker!
They both went to the same Basketball Institute as teenagers and have been excellent friends ever since. I have heard numerous interviews saying that they cant believe it has taken this long to get the 2 of them together. I agree, as much as I hate to see Blair get the bench, I would rather my PC becomes worthless (well, even more so )and the Spurs get another ring!
Blair is a straight up hustler! He is persistent and gets most of his points by taking the % play and being in the most likely spot to get the board!
Diaw is a better Picker and plain screener than Blair and travels well between base and 3. That is what is killing the opponents - the Jazz especially. They are double and sometimes triple screening to get Parker, Green and Leonard open and it is too much for the man to man defense to handle!
Well actually if you have nothing to add and just want to troll, nba.com has Blair at 6"7 and Diaw at 6"8.
By small I did'nt mean height anyway. He does'nt defend the big guys as well as Diaw. Diaw can guard Pau, Blair cannot.
So if Diaw can guard bigs, it's a huge advantage for the Spurs as they can keep Splitter coming off the bench. (Splitter may get starts against a seriously big team though).
