V8 Maybe ?? Prefer Turbo myself , although i may consider a change

Seriously though, its that time, where i need to update my car, any ideas ??? Havent really had a good look, but @ the moment nothing springs to mind
I'd look at leasing a new vehicle - upto $100K, depending on purchase price & lease repayments

Currently i drive a 2008 Ford FG FPV F6, purchased new - stock

Wish list:-
Nissan GTR Twin Turbo - love to get into 1 of these, $160K + way toooo expensive
BMW M3 - would be my 2nd choice,$160K + way toooo expensive

I'd like to get into a European like sports cars - overall better finish, higher resale value, ie BMW/Audi/Mercedes, however i dont want to compromise luxury over performance, trying to find a car which is affordable, offering a balance of style/finish & performance

Have looked @
Lexus IS350, reasonable price/OK finish/moderate power @ 230KW
Volvo S60 T6 Polestar

OR ..... I might stick with a Ford or Holden with some grunt
Ford's new - GT R SPEC
Holdens - GTS or Grange range

Any ideas ???

Does it have to be brand new? You can get an 09 GTR for about $110k, or an M3 around the same age from $90k and up, both still current shape.

hey guys random question, so the benz is going in for its final tune next thursday then its ready to show would anyone have contacts at any of the magazine to get a bit of a possible feature going at hot 4's or the likes?

If you have a bit of a budget then i would look at a range rover mate
brought my wife one last year and it awesome

finally finished the benz. Got the stereo re-tuned today and all i have to say is damn loudest thing ive sate in and build, went all out no budget on this one. while we were tuning it, the whole shop was shaking and the people in the 2 shops across the road came out to see what was happening lol guess thats what you might expect 4 x 12" rockford to do

Ok finally after 3 week my darling arrived from the land of wobby.

Completely stock, not even a friggen air freshner.

Love it.
Sounds good even stock, but yes mods will be in the future.

OTR CAI
2.5 inch cat back.
Maffless tune.
Window tint, probably 25% shhhhhh
And of course drop it a bit.

Yeah man sure is, took 3 weeks but it was worth the wait.

Doing a 600km trip today to visit my parents. Should be a good test.
2010 with only 14, 000km on the clock. Gotta run it in mate.

Havent been able to fault the car at all yet. 600km highway trip.
Averaged 10.8L/100km
5th gear grunt is enough to ovetake anything very quickly from 100km/hour upto 150 just like that.

Yet still has the smoothness to idle off from an insterction in 2nd.

Stock exhaust is a little ratly/throaty down low in the revs but awesome when you open her up.

Mags are perfect no gutter rash, orginal tyres.

Interior is schmick, apart from the cheap as chips floor mats that were put in.

Very interesting to find the battery in the boot, and having a positive and earth point in the front. (guessing its for jump starts)

Overall very happy so far. Need the windows tinted, and give the paint work, light fittings and interior my personal touch and ill be happy for now.

Until the call of power wraps his arms around me.

Also found a nice surprise in the drivers handbook

Yeah man i think Rza and ol dirty were the first owners. Would explain the 3 pounds of weed and 7 uzi's i found. I rang them and they said oi matt, come check out my gravel pit.

Could also be signed by will davidson and garth tander but who am i to know
