In a card numbered to /5 you'd think the patches would be decent! Nice hit either way, but can see why you would be a bit dissapointed!

I have always thought 'High End' redemptions come in a one touch instead of a sleeve/toploader!!

i think we all need to change the way we think about the patches. panini dont say its a patch card, they say its a prime material which means ANYTHING that is not plain jersey. as sick as the card is they dont say they will make the material a "patch". its another one of their loophole's like the "this piece of material is guaranteed by panini" although there are only slightly 2 colours its still a "prime" piece of material. it really is a shame because the gold on the wizards jersey is sick and they could have easily found 2 small pieces for it

I agree in part slobby, the part that really annoys me as a collector is that this card hurts the hobby more than anything, as much as it hurts this is a case hit for the highest end product available, the big problem here is that no wall fan will want this card, the only people who will bid this card up are patch fakers...

very true mate, and its a shame, thats why collectors as a WHOLE need to change their thought process about prime material and patches...below is the perfect example...panini DREW on the piece of material, its from a shootaround, its clearly drawn on, nique is a patch but pippens is bland but because its a got something on it, it becomes PRIME. To me the card isnt the problem, what wall collector wouldnt want that? there are only 5...the problem is that everything is mass produced, if that was pippen, it would sell for 500 bucks because there arent auto patches out there. if i was a wall collector out there id be all over it, with cards /5 you cant wait for a better one

...and I'd also add an on card auto! Sure you'll be able to sell it for a good bit of coin though, afterall if you don't like that one there's only 4 others potentially available!

I've seen the prime duals numbered /49 with nicer patches. It's funny tho because i've also seen rpa's numbered /99 with nice patches and once numbered /25 or /5. I don't think there's really any QC that goes into the patch/prime selection.
