Hi mate the cards you sent me are commons not Paralells I gave you 4 Paralells for the 3 I needed but you sent commons and I and all the rest of the people you have traded with are not going to be happy and throwing the cards in a padded bag without any protection is not on, =All were Damage I know your only new but cards must be packed between Carboard to protect them,

Hi!
First of all I apologize about that, I didn´t know the difference between commons and paralells. After I read ypur post, I asked my son (he didn´t know it either) and we realized asking his classmates about that. It´s the first time he is doing this collection, that´s why we didn´t know it.
About´throwing´the cards in a bubble bag, I thought they were going to be ok, I asked in the post office and they recommended that.I hope they are ok. If you want I´ll send you back your cards due to my fault.
Many thanks

No you can Keep , its not about the cards when you get the chance read the rules it will help you in everything ,I know its your first time and you don't know much about them that's why im not worried about the cards you should read the rules on packing because it will help you how to do things and understand how everything is done.

Cheers Rob

Ps Is your list up to date ill go through my commons and see what I have and send them to you free of charge

Rudy,

Ok here is card trading 101...........in a nutshell. The 2013 Traders series features base cards which are player cards on a normal card stock. Next are parallel cards, they are 1 in each packet, they feature the same image as the base card but they have a foil or refractor finish. Next you have the inserts, some are more valuable than others simply because of the ratio they are inserted in a box. There are the Retiree cards, Chart Toppers and the Premiership series. It is up to each trader what they will or won't accept in a trade, you could offer 2 x Retiree cards in trade for 1 x Chart Topper or multiple parallel cards for a Retiree card.

Supplies - to successfully trade on OZCT you will need some supplies, first you will need penny sleeves. They come in packs of 100 for usually about $3.50, they are a soft sleeve that will fit 1 card, each card sent must be in a penny sleeve. Next will be top loaders, they are a rigid plastic sleeve that will fit a card in a penny sleeve. I will send you a link on postage methods that are acceptable on OZCT and if you send me your address, I will send you an example of how a card must be packaged for trade and some supplies to get you started.

If you are sending 10 cards then of course it can be impracticable to sent them all in top loaders, what you can do then if so place the cards in a team bag, that is a small bag that will fit a top loader, it will take 10-12 cards in sleeves and it has a resealable top. Pop the cards in there and sandwich that between two pieces of stiff cardboard and pop that in a bubble mailer.

Only bubble mailers can be used to send cards, not white envelopes..........Remember to a collector, condition is EVERYTHING.
