Having issues getting all the paperwork through and getting a handle on the Knights actual debt position. Im told its more down to his lawyers holding things up than anything. Board is expected to extend until 10 August to complete.

I heard he was told the debt was $300,000 but was informed by the ATO that it is actually $1.5million, this is what is holding it up, he will pay it all, but needs to buy a Ferrari first to then drive down to the ATO office

Knights have done a pretty good PR job here. I have heard the same story about the ATO debt this morning. Apparently when they went through the books there were a few surprises for them.

Let me start by putting this firmly in the rumor bin but i am hearing a major Sydney club is about to get hammered over salary cap breaches.

I have a mate who is a bookie telling me they have been taking some serious bets on Manly to miss the 8. Considering they only need 2 points to cement a top 8 spot.........wait and see.

They're always fun to talk about though. Nothing ever comes of em. It would not surprise me though. Some of the stuff a certain former half-backs dad used to talk about Manly in his work place, you gotta wonder BIG time.
