The Dragons need to get rid of Doust, Young and McGregor, they need non Dragons to come in, its a boys club at the moment, the best people are not given jobs, classic example is McGregor when he was given the job to be our conditioner/trainer, even though they interviewed a guy who didn't get the job but ended up at an EPL club, job was given to McGregor who had no qualifications basically...

I agree it is time for a fresh start. eg.Get rid of Doust Mcgregor and Fat Albert and get Neil Henry P j Marsh and a new CEO

BREAKING: Busy day for @NRL_Dragons - they have MATCHED @RaidersCanberra offer for Kevin Proctor!

The race for Melbourne forwardKevin Proctor's signature is down to two clubs, with the Kiwi international to decide between theCanberra RaidersandMelbourne Stormtonight.
Fairfax Media has learnedSt George Illawarra Dragonsare now out of the hunt, with Proctor's management denying reports the club had matched Canberra's reported $700,000 a season offer.
The Dragon's quest to sign the 25-year-old certainly hasn't been helped by the sacking of head coachSteve Priceon Monday.
Proctor will weigh up his options after he finishes training with Melbourne on Monday afternoon, with a decision expected by 7pm.

Despite my excitement of this signing I do feel for the Tigers given the $$ and time they have put in develop him through the junior ranks

Shattered that he left. Can't blame him for the money that was offered.

Wests Tigers Statement-

He really should send a thank you letter to the media too. They took his impressive performances in the Auckland Nines and first few games of the season and started comparing him to players like Billy Slater. 2.4 million 3 year contract after 25 games NRL experience....kid hit the lotto!

Yeah it is way overs and a gamble, I hope it comes off! As I mentioned earlier it is always sad to see a player leave the club that developed and paid for them but the NRL is a business these days. I have seen Canberra lose so many quality players over the years so the NRL really needs to sort this out. I would rather have retained Milford who has been in the Canberra system since he was 12. A common denominator is both Milford & Tedesco have a slimy manager in Ayoub who is always up to something dodgy behind the scenes to drive up his bottom line!

Apparently back flipped on Raiders deal, staying in Melbourne.
Canberra would be shattered. Especially more so if something comes out about one of their Backrowers. At present it's a non-issue but it has Robert Lui connotations.
Anyone here anything?
