The Panthers have today agreed to release Tim Grant from the final two years of his contract so he can take up an offer to join South Sydney.
Tim approached Penrith officials several weeks ago about a possible release, but after negotiations he agreed to see out his term until the end of 2016. However, after a change of heart he again approached club bosses to ask for a release, which has today been formalised.

I think last year Japan rugga was offering silly money at Mansour before signed a one-year deal. No doubt they're still interested too.
