Paul was a half back in the mid to late 90's. I mostly remember him playing for the Sharks but played for other clubs too. I swear I saw him in the dressing room after the Roosters win against Newcastle last week

So the Panthers have removed Penrith from the logo, the reason being "evolution and growth". Guess having pride in where the team is from means nothing these days.

its just the logo, it doesn't mean they wont be called the Penrith Panthers. most teams are known by there mascot, the bulldogs done it a few years so I don't really see a problem with it. it does look similar to the old days as chocolate soldiers and liquorice allsorts and as the motto says respect the past, create the future.

yeah that's true in a sense, but everyone who supports the panthers knows where they come from and always when asked who do you support, say the Panthers.
If you have a set of Select cards from 2000 he's card no. 66 for the Cowboys, so he's a former Cow who coached at Wynnum Manly with sucess before joining the Roosters.
Thanks. I think someone mentioned it on here about 4-5 months ago. Elliott stated a week ago that only one of Packer/Matulino would move on and it seems that Packer is the one to go. The Warriors have always looked to build around Mutts. Apparently Packer walked out of the awards dinner the other night. There does seem to be a conscious effort by the club to cut the players with the wrong attitude - there were some very unprofessional tweets bad mouthing the club from several payers last week.
The papers are talking about players leaving to allow Tomkins under the cap, but I know for certain that the Warriors don't have $ issues at this stage. Elliott also stated in his interview last week that Tomkins wouldn't be the highest paid player next year and there were a couple of signings to come.
Really hope we don't lose Mutts. Packer will be a big loss if he can stay fit, but he has chronic, ongoing injury issues.

Won the Brisbane Rothmans Medal and suffered a career ending knee injury at the Roosters in 2000, his Rookie card from 1994 isn't him it's an error with Alan Wilson pictured, there is a correction card but it's as rare as rocking horse poo!.
