In the Canberra Times this morning they said Shane Flanagan was using Carney to try and lure Blake Ferguson back to the Sharks. It would seem a bit strange if Carney was doing that and then left Cronulla.
Carney has already turned down the Warriors offer from what I have heard. Can't be bothered looking for the link - but pretty sure Matt Elliott confirmed it in a media interview
Ferguson has nothing on Dugan's behaviour. But it's not the bad boy behaviour that I care about being punished in this instance. It's the fact that I don't think any player should be able to have a sook like Dugan did to get out of a contract and walk in to a new club the same year. If the NRL allow this, what is to stop the other idiots doing the same thing because they want out? There is no point having contracts if they permit this to happen.

ok so should jacob miller not be allowed to play, he had sook that he was dropped and asked for a release to join Hull, which was granted.... Point is he has misbehaved but what has been reported has been minor in comparison to others, he has been made to go to counselling, where it has been found he is "sane", but the NRL will not register him'he has missed about 6 or so weeks already... regarding the breaking contracts' you may have to ban all the clubs who move on players with contracts or players who want releases... anyway im done with Dugan talk, we agree to disagree...
Plus he asked and was granted the release. I have no problems with players asking and being granted a release if both parties are happy with it but if it is done like Dugan or SBW they should have to suffer the consequences.
