He is an absolute legend back home in the central west NSW. He was actually from Eugowra though not Forbes not surprised the swampys are trying to claim him though.
Illawarra Cutters / Dragons RUMOURS from a 3rd party...
Josh Drinkwater is not liked at all by team mates most thinking he has a bit of a pea heart and wont have a go...
Michael Lett lost job at mine due to closure and has been offered job at another mine and captaincy of mittagong in group 6 .. will probably go within 2-3 weeks..
The drinkwater info is very dissapointing and it gets a whole lot deeper.. will not divulge too much more but his attitude is fucked and other players put it on his " manly" roots
Interesting tidbit- i heard on the news about the passing of Ian Walsh, and turns out he was at the retirement village where my mum is a nurse, she said no one up there knew he was any kind of superstar, mum said he had an old photo of the Dragons on the wall in his room but she thought nothing of it.
She saw on the news that he had died and sure enough realised how great he actually was.
Hard to believe that i was living only a few hundred metres from a rugby league legend and had absolutely no idea.

I think that is story is very indicative of blokes from that era. Hard workers who never carried on and gloated about their wonderful achievements. Can you imagine what some of the young players today would have on their walls, lots of selfies no doubt!
